Quality Technician—Incoming Inspection

As a member of our Quality team, this key position will coordinate supplier quality functions to ensure material conformance to quality specifications. The successful candidate will perform inspection of incoming materials, identify nonconformances and refer them to appropriate personnel for review, verify product certificates of conformance and analysis against specifications, and maintain certificates in vendor product files. This important role also reviews and approves drawings as part of the new product development and engineering change process, validates customer complaints, and performs internal audits and equipment calibrations.

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree in engineering technology or a related degree or 3-4 years equivalent experience in inspection, metrology or quality control. The ability to read blueprints, interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances, and experience with measuring devices are required. A minimum of 2 years experience in quality related field and ASQ certifications are preferred.
