Technical Service Specialist
The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for providing front-line technical support to Restek's domestic and international customers by handling customer and technical inquiries via the telephone, fax, web and other means. This role will also be responsible for providing technical training to Restek staff members & customers, teaching seminars and/or making presentations, making customer visits and representing Restek at trade shows.
Bachelor’s degree in science or other related field or 6-8 years of equivalent job experience is required. 3-5 years experience in a chromatography field is preferred. A background in marketing, sales, or customer service is helpful. Competent computer skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing and database applications), excellent communications skills, both oral and written and outstanding customer service skills are also required.
